Stan,

Another successful night!! You and your crew really know how to throw  parties that oozes with excitement and energy.  It was the first time my husband came with me. He just stood there like he was in a trance when you first came out and started the party.  He said he had no idea that your parties were of that caliber or level of intensity.  We heard that this is the "Event of The Year".  Now we see why.  Never stop what you are doing! It is a Winning Formula!

Our  group came from Wildwood, New Jersey Back in the 70's we would see the "Stan's Disco" T-shirts on the Boardwalk.  I guess because people from Lebanon would vacation here in Wildwood.  We heard about your Stan's Disco parties from some friends of ours and  checked it out on the internet.  We couldn't resist the chance to make the Disco Scene.  To our surprise we see other people from NJ that we knew.  All I can say is that you have some following for the past 35 years.  You need a bigger venue.

Stan, WOW! What a night! I am so sore that I think I will be taking a sick day on Monday. I am only 35 and I feel like I have a mind of a 21 year old in a 70 year old body when I have attended your parties. You really have a special talent of knowing how to get everyone in a party mood.  We want more. Not just once a year!  You owe it to your fans. More Stan's!

That is awesome that so many people come to your disco party!!  I knew Carisa was going to be there, she's been talking about it for weeks.  Another facebook friend of mine said she was going to a disco and I asked if it was yours...her response was yes.  I can tell she had a blast because she put mobile updates as to how much fun she was having.  Can't wait for Carisa's pics.

Great Job Stan!  My only complaint is that you do this just once a year! WHY? You have the ability to draw people from cross the States and you only do it once a year?!?  Anyway, it is the best dance night of the year. I do not know of any local talent that does it the way Stan does it.

Stan, As usual you have done it again.  The place was so energized you couldn't help but be caught up in the enthusiasm! What amazes me is that you know just want motivates the crowd and you have that special talent and personality  to amplify it into the "EVENT OF THE YEAR"!!

OMG!!! The Best party ever! I only heard people talking about this party but never was able to make it.  I really regret that I missed the past parties.   Not going to happen in the future.  I was very impressed! Thanks for doing these great parties.

Hey Stan, its Suzy _ _ _ _ _.    I was just wondering if you had any footage from the Trammps concert out at the fairgrounds.   It would be sooo cool to see that.   Had a ball at the Party, thanks for a great time!!!!!!!!!!   Keep up the good work.

Stan's Reply: No... Sorry I don't. All I have is the picture that was with the News Paper Article that was done on the concert.  I had over 2,000 pictures from the past Stan's Discos and I left someone borrow them and I never got them back! They said they lost them in a move.   That was a very big loss.   I hired a photographer to go to all the Stan's Discos And places in Lebanon area to take pictures so I would be able to project them on the big screen are the Annville Disco.  There were a lot of years of Stan's  Disco  history in that collection and now they are gone.   If there are people out there that have pictures of past disco nights we would love to post them.  Just email them to stansdisco@electservices.net

I have to agree with the guy from Jersey. The reason it gets so full is because  Stan ALWAYS had packed Discos.  I used to go to his disco when he started the under 21 club and there was standing room only there. And when I was old enough to go to the Stan's Disco at the Treadway  it was the same way. Come on people!! Why do you think Stan is still around doing this and DRAWING the crowds! They even travel from the surrounding states. You can even see that the next generation (Now 21 to 29 years of age) want to share what their parents had when they were growing up. I couldn't believe the wide age span that was there. 

Stan, DO NOT STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!  Great job!! We will be there every time! Thanks for all the years.  What else can I say?  Hey, See for yourself. The PROOF is in the Videos!!! Awesome night!!!

Came back to the hometown for the last 2 years to attend this. Had a great time and we'll be back next year. Yes its crowded and hot, but aren't all the good places to dance? Work it out people! You know I'm right! 
 
Enjoying the pic's & vid's now. Glad you post them otherwise we wouldn't see everyone or get the chance to make fun of ourselves!

The best part of growing up in the 70's for me, was going to Stan's EVERY Friday night. I was so excited to get my $100 worth of tickets to go on the 15th of March.

Then I found out (the day of the dance because nobody told us when we bought our tickets) that there is reserved seating ONLY and that was only for the first 300 people! I held # 700 something or other. Needless to say none of us went knowing there would be no where to sit or stand! I just wanted to let Stan know how disappointed all of us were that evening. I really don't think it was fair for any of us. I am sure al ot of people felt let down.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. It is hard to accommodate everyone and keep them all happy. We are still trying to iron out some of the rough edges. Each year we try to change things that didn’t work out the year before. The 2007 party we only reserved tables to people that bought 30 tickets or more. People complained about having to purchase 30 tickets so we lowered it to 10 tickets. If you still have your ticket stub you will see that we had printed on ALL the tickets in size “12 font print”  Quote ”Table reservations held with purchase of 10 or more tickets purchased at one time” and we thought that would tell people that there would not be seating unless they would team up with some friends to make up 10 members at a table. We also updated the website everyday to let people know that there were XX amount of tables left as the days drew closer to the March 15th date.  We had a little over 600 chairs Reserved for people to sit. The rest was standing room only. Once the dancing started most of the seats were empty.

 Like I said, we are still learning each year different ways to set things up better. We have people coming from Maine, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia to visit at Stan's.  But they got their tickets in January.  Actually most of the tables were reserved within the first 7 days they went on sale after Jan. 2nd.  We did turn over 100 people away at the door because they didn’t have pre-bought tickets.    

I’m sorry that you didn’t have a good time because it was so full but if I would limit it to 400 or 500 people then it wouldn’t be worth having the party. A lot of people come because it is full and they get to see a lot of people they didn’t see for years. Since I only do this once a year it is bound to get sold out quickly.

 I’m sure that you had to be aware that the dance gets packed every year. I try to keep everyone informed by using the website, printed tickets and my brochures.  We even put on the arrow signs the we had on Route 72 and Route 422 that we were SOLD OUT. 

I would sure hate to loose you and your friends as Stan’s Disco Dancers. If you do decide that you still want to come next year, Please try to get together with some other people that you know are going so that you will be able to get a table.  The Tickets will be on sale by Jan. 2nd at the Mail Dock and the Party will be March 21, 2009. That has been posted on the website since March 15th.  

I appreciate all the people that I got to meet and know throughout my DJ & Stan’s Disco career and sure hate to disappoint them.

 Thanks for you input and concerns and I do take them seriously and try to remedy what I am able to. Thanks for you understanding.

Hey Stan,

I want to know why you don't have your own night club. Someone that draws a crowd like you do is wasting their talent. Years past you had Adult & Under 21 Discos and they were always packed with Stan's Disco followers. You should have kept on going with the club scenes. By the way... those lights were awesome!  Very hypnotic.   I think you should do this at least once a month.   I was so sore the next day that I could barely walk. I don't think I stop once from the time you started.

Wow Stan!! I couldn't believe my eyes. There were people there that I didn't see for 30 years. I heard people talking about your past Theme Parties but words did not do it any justice. Even the pictures and videos on the website doesn't do it justice.  Everybody there was infected with Stan's Disco Fever!!!! The Dance floor NEVER, NEVER, NEVER had an empty spot on it. What a tribute to all the years you entertained us.

This was the first Stan's Disco Party that I have been to and it was a blast!!!!!  I was a regular at Lebanon Catholic and this really brought back some great memories. It was also like a class reunion which made that a bonus.
 
You can bet now that we have been to 1 we will make sure we don't miss another.
 
Great Job in putting together a fantastic evening.
 
The only suggestion I have would be to let out 2 or 3 table in front of the bar to help with the bar traffic. There was no  easy way to get to the bar and the food without annoying people sitting at the tables near the bar. I know the demand for seating is great and the Eagle's has a great dance floor.
But it was a pain to try not to spill your drink or food on someone while trying to get back and forth to your table.
 
Just wanted to put it out there and give some fed back.
Again great job and look forward to 2009!

I just wanted to say that I had a blast!  This was my first year attending and I didn't find out about it till the last minute.  Thank goodness there were still tickets left, but not many.  I think you should have this at least every 6 months.  I think it would be a big success with all us disco-lovers.  Thanks for a great time!  We will see you at the next one!

Hi Stan,

Just wanted to let you know how much fun my group had on Saturday Night. We were the group that came from Parsippany, NJ in the Black Limos.  I saw there were White Limos there also. We try to get out on the town a couple  times a years and the trip to Stan's Disco is by far the most fun. I used to go to Stan's every week when I lived in Lebanon. Great Night!!! Don't Stop!! At least twice a year would be nice.  Thanks for the memories.

I'm more of a Rock & Roll person but when I saw the energy in that room, I couldn't help but to dance to the disco music. I even surprised myself! Also couldn't believe the age span. I saw people that were in their early 20s to people that had to be 75 years old. That shows that you have a great following. This was the first time for me but I can say it won't be the last unless you decide to retire.

I use to go to Stan's Disco in Annville then I went to Stan's out at the Quality.  Met this great guy at Stan's and then had Stan's do our wedding reception.  And this year Stan's will be doing a 25th wedding anniversary/renewal of our vows party. Kinda looks like we are BIG Fans of Stan's.

I had to talk my husband into going to Stan's Reunion party. It was like pulling teeth. But when he got there he said he saw more people that he knew in one night then he has seen in years. I don't think he ever stopped dancing! I couldn't keep up with him and to think he didn't even want to go. I blame you (Stan's) for my sore feet & legs! LOL  But to be honest with you, I would do it again and again! Oooh What A Night.  Thanks so much for bringing back our youth again if it was only for a night.

Stan, I realy was upset that I had to be in Philly when you had your party. And now I'm even more upset after watching your videos! Why did you have to have it the same night I wasn't around! I was stuck at a wedding with a boring DJ when I should have been at the Best Disco in Town! Now I have to wait another year till I can put my groove on!!!!

We are going to have the next one March 16th, 2008.  Keep checking the website for more info and videos.

One other comment... We will be taking reservations for people that buy 10 tickets. That way it will be fairer for everybody to get seating and it will be easier to set up.  Also we will get the doors to open earlier and open the bar earlier. I apologize to those that weren't able to find seating. This was the first time we were in this venue so we weren't sure how things would work out.  Now we can make the corrections to make it a better party next year.

Once again I want to thank everyone that attended the party. Also I like to thank Ray's Food Service and his staff for all their help. I know the the bar was jammed up in the beginning and I'm sure the bartenders were overwhelmed at first but they did a good job of catching up. Thanks to them.

Here is to you, Stan, for once again letting us go back in time to the days that were some of the best and most memorable times of my life!!  You made my teenage years at the old Robert Halls building and Lebanon Catholic so much fun!  It is so great to relive those times again.  Just llike some of the other comments, I wish you had the reunions more often.  Thanks for all you do to make it such an awesome night!  YOU ARE THE BEST, STAN THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
